Our advice is that all fish ponds should have a pump or filtration system that runs 24 hours a day.

Solar pumps without battery backup are not suitable to maintain healthy levels of good bacteria on fish ponds. 

All fish including goldfish require their water to be dechlorinated and conditioned.
